Waste Water Treatment Plant - Aeration Piping Upgrade
Dynamic Stainless Group was engaged to upgrade the aeration system at a wastewater treatment plant, ensuring improved efficiency and capacity for aeration tank supply. This upgrade involved the installation of four new blowers and the integration of stainless steel distribution pipework into the existing system. The critical challenge was executing the upgrade without disrupting the town’s wastewater operations.
Project Overview
-
• Structural Support: Installation of new bracketing to support the new pipework.
• Pipework Installation:
o Crane installation of new stainless steel distribution pipes into position.
o Secure installation within the newly fabricated bracketing.
• System Integration:
o Installation of tie-in pieces during a scheduled shutdown to seamlessly connect new and existing systems.
o Removal of select sections of old pipework to accommodate the new infrastructure.
• Blower System Upgrade:
o Decommissioning and removal of two outdated blowers.
o Installation of four new high-efficiency blowers within the blower house.
o Integration of new blowers into the existing aeration system for optimized performance.

Project Outcome
The aeration system upgrade was completed on time with no operational disruptions. The new stainless steel pipework improved system efficiency and durability, seamlessly integrating with existing infrastructure.
With two high-efficiency blowers replacing the old units, the system now delivers better airflow control, reduced energy consumption, and increased treatment capacity, ensuring reliable and efficient operation for the facility.
